This beautifully illustrated drawing, writing, or discussion prompt asks students to think of a time a dream came true. What are their wishes, hopes, and dreams and how did they fulfill them or see them fulfilled? Used as a filler or community builder, this activity will have them sharing about miraculous times when wishes really came true!
Or you can ask students to think about their dreams when they were sleeping. Did they ever have a dream and then recognize part of it in real life? Have they ever had deja-vu, only to realize they’d seen this scene in their dreams? It’s up to you and your students to decide how to see it.
Each of these original worksheets from the 60 Positive Activities for Kids activities are extremely flexible and adaptable to fit your classroom! Students can respond in writing, in discussion, or by drawing. Younger learners (or lower-level ESL/EFL students) might start with a drawing, then label it. After that, they can tell their partner about their answer, before doing a short writing of a sentence or two. Older or more advanced students might start with drawings and notes, and move straight to a paragraph, which they can then read or present to the class!
